Rivals' No. 1 ranked recruit in the 2024 high school class, a 6.1 Star-ranked, pro-style quarterback, named Dylan Raiola was "honored" by how much the Cornhuskers staff showed their desire to coach him at the college level---with a group of nine Nebraska football coaches making a mass visit to the kid and his family in Chandler Arizona.
“It was awesome,” Raiola’s father said, “They’re on a mission. They handle themselves as an elite top-tier university and that makes me proud. That’s where I went. I went to an elite top-tier university. It’s a proud feeling you know.”
"I think all nine coaches from the offensive and defensive side of the ball that means a lot to me and my family," Dylan added. "Very grateful that they did that. No other school has done that before. I'm just very grateful Nebraska views me and my family like that and I'm very blessed."
Comment: As indicated, the Raiola family was quite impressed, but I wonder if such a unique visit really means anything these days. Now, if they follow it up with a Jim Harbaugh style, in-home visit with nine NIL boosters coming for an overnighter in the Raiola home, well that just might do the trick.
