Comments: (1) All Pac-12 schools will play just one of their three OOC games on the road, except for Arizona State which will play all three at home. (2) Utah appears to have the most challenging OOC slate of the group, with two toughies (one on the road), and one cupcake. (3) Not sure how UCLA ended up hosting two Carolina teams at the Rose Bowl, but I'm sure there's an explanation somewhere. (4) Oregon State will be playing all three of their OOC games with California schools. (5) As 2024 will be USC and UCLA's last year in the Pac-12, it will be interesting to see how many of the remaining Pac-12 teams will appear on their schedules as OOC games in the coming years.
With next year being UCLA and USC’s last as members of the Pac-12 and the league having ended the divisional format last season, a local sports commentator mentioned the possibility of changes in 2023 league schedules which currently have USC not playing Oregon State and Washington State and UCLA not playing Oregon and Washington.
I really doubt that will occur, especially this late in the game, but with the Pac-12 leadership currently negotiating for an optimal television contract going forward, such an event might be a consideration, along with future games on an OOC basis between the two schools, for example UCLA playing California, USC playing Stanford, etc. on an OOC basis.
Obviously, the Big Ten league schedules will dictate UCLA and USC's the post-2023 seasons along with currently agreed upon OOC slates, as follows:
UCLA - FUTURE OOC SCHEDULES: 2024: @ Hawai’i, Fresno State @ LSU 2025: Georgia, @ UNLV, New Mexico 2026: @ Georgia, San Diego State, Nevada 2027: U.C. Davis, Auburn, @ Hawai’i
USC - FUTURE OOC SCHEDULES: 2024: LSU (Las Vegas), San Jose State, Notre Dame 2025: Ole Miss, @ Notre Dame, TBA 2026: Fresno State, @ Ole Miss, Notre Dame 2027: UNLV, TBA, TBA

Someday maybe the NCAA will discount cupcake games in the competitive record for bowls & playoffs. They really are pointless & usually no fun for the fan either. JMO.
