UCLA's out of conference slate is so lackluster this year, the league's major TV providers all took a pass, sending all three of the Bruins' OOC games to the Pac-12 Network:
9/3 - Bowling Green Rose Bowl 11:30 am Pac-12 Network
9/10- Alabama State Rose Bowl 02:00 pm Pac-12 Network
9/17- South Alabama Rose Bowl 11:00 am Pac-12 Network
What's Not to Like?
All three are afternoon home games with primetime starts,'
Great pre-game picnic opportunities around the golf course greens,
Plenty of available parking, an easy drive home, and
A 3-0 record for The Chipper when the sun sets.
On the other hand,
With the current water rationing in Pasadena, it's likely the grass will not be green;
With the cost of gasoline in California, the trip to and from the stadium will be very pricey;
The Rose Bowl turnstiles won't produce much green either; and
The Pac-12 TV ratings will exceed expectations.
