The Pac-12's decision for member schools to play just their nine already scheduled conference games in 2020 seems on the verge of changing.
Apparently, if everything works out, member schools may add one of the two missed conference members to their adjusted 2020 schedule: In USC's case that probably means the Trojans will end up playing everyone in the Pac-12 but Oregon State.
Now, there's some thinking that yet another game could be added as well, which would mean USC would end up playing every conference member in 2020, including the Beavers.
Bottom Line: USC and its fans would prefer a result that gets Notre Dame back on the Trojans' schedule for many historical reasons as well as the revenue the contest always provides. And, if the Fighting Irish don't somehow end up on USC's schedule this year, it would be very nice if somehow the two schools could meet in a bowl game.
