All Money Bets Conference Championships Week Wagers (Week Ending Saturday, 12/7/2019) should be posted in this thread, and the Las Vegas lines are already up.
LINK:www.oddsshark.com/ncaaf/odds NOTE: As in year's past, Big Louie has granted an additional cash advance of $5,000 for all players participating in post season play, and player bankrolls have been adjusted accordingly:
"What's in my wallet?" A lot of new money . . . very soon, I'm hoping, with $5,000 on the line:
$1,000 on Clemson vs. Virginia +28.5: The only metric favoring the Cavaliers is “Time on the Field”; everything else is owned by the Tigers. Plus, the two trendlines indicate Virginia allows a lot of points and Clemson loves to score them.
$500 on Baylor vs. Oklahoma -9: The Sooners win a lot of games, but generally by margins smaller than expected. And it's worth noting that Oklahoma topped the Bears a couple of weeks ago by only three points. So, I’ll take the points in this one.
$1,000 on LSU vs. Georgia +7.5: Always dangerous to bet with your heart, but I’ve just gotta back Coach Ed Orgeron! My rationale for this game? Easy! LSU beat Texas A & M, 50-7, last Saturday, and Georgia beat the Aggies, 19-13, the week before.
$1,000 on Ohio State vs. Wisconsin +16: The Buckeyes beat the Badgers 38-7 in October, so it seems safe to assume that sixteen points won't be too hard for Ohio State to cover.
$1,500 on Utah vs. Oregon +6.5: While the offensive metrics of the two teams are similar, the Utes have a significant edge in every defensive category. As a result, Utah’s game winning margins tend to be greater than Oregon’s, and especially so in recent games.

After probably my worst week ever in this thread, it’s time to make up some of the losses with the championship games.
$500 Oregon +6.5 vs Utah. Similar teams with similar stats but one difference IMO. Quarterbacks. This is the big game for the conference. I will take Herbert over Huntley with the big pressure on.
$500 Appalachian St -6.5 vs Louisiana The Rajun Cajuns have quietly had a 9-2 season with a high powered offense. Oh, they only scored 7 vs Appalachian State in a loss in mid season. Appalachian State has beaten South Carolina & North Carolina.
$1000 LSU -7 vs Georgia. I don’t expect the Tigers to put 50 on the board here but their defense can choke the Dog’s offense. Covering by a TD is do able.
$250 Virginia +28.5 vs Clemson I can’t recall in recent memory a Virginia team losing by more than 4 TDS. Clemson has been whacking teams with a stellar OL, strong edge rush & a pro level secondary. Virginia plays some defense too.
$500 Ohio St -16 vs Wisconsin IMO Ohio State is the eventual champion this year. Superb offense and defense. The Badgers are getting respect with this point spread but it’s defense is a step slower. The fourth quarter should bear this out.
Jimi, with your picks including some head-to-head wagers with mine, I'm thinking the derby race has a bit more drama than usual this week . . .
Brings to mind, That memorable line, "This is exciting, Isn't it?"
Lol. Since you’re swinging for the fences I had to start digging in the batter’s box too.
Yeah, but after Oregon's thrashing of Utah yesterday, I'm back in the dugout!
Footnote: In response to questions: The line, "This is exciting, Isn't it?" is from the old "Larry Sanders" television show on HBO. HBO still reruns the series now and then on their "On Demand" listing.
